Notes: I owe massive thanks to the magnificent maybelater__ for suffering through the first draft of this and then removing all the fail from the grammar. The same goes to thisissirius for her incredibly awesome artwork.

I should also note that the base concept for this story comes from the Alfred Bester novel The Demolished Man. I can only hope I did it justice and that dear Mr. Bester is not rolling in his grave (though that in itself would be quite a story).
