You were thinking about a DA/SPN cross? Go ahead and DO IT. I'd definitely read it. There are so many possibilities for how it would work. (and if you're interested in more great crossovers, one of my favorites is ladyjanelly's Today Tom Sawyer (http://ladyjanelly.livejournal.com/41744.html) which involves Sam and Ben and is just amazing.)
