ROFL! This is great. I only watched the pilot of Pushing Daisies, but I think you've got the tone down. :)

One thing - Your girlfriend is a zombie brought back from the dead by her necromancer childhood sweetheart who will die the instant he touches her.

This sentence kind of sounds like Ned is the one who will die if he touches Chuck. Just something minor I noticed.
