Had to go read the Wikipedia plot but I'm glad I did--this was pretty cool though I admit I like the original better.

One criticism--
The paragraph starting:
Ted Mosby has always been a little bit oblivious.
And ending:
Scherbatsky on the other hand, Scherbatsky is bridging the gap.

was strangely hard to read for me. I thought it was Ted narrating, and I had to read it over a few times to get it and even now I don't think I fully understand.
